14” Miss Flora McFlimsey (#24) This wonderful doll from 1953 brings to life a character from a book about a little Victorian doll who works magic. Rarely is this doll found in this superb condition. Her lifelike face of hard vinyl with inset blue eyes is quite different from any other Alexander Doll. Quaintly dressed in crisp white eyelet and cotton, styled with tucks. Blue satin waist sash, “buttoned shoes and the gayest little straw hat imaginable to top off her sweet frock.” A very special doll! $1650. |
