Doll #12 No one knows too much about this mystery Cissette. Marjorie Merod, in her book "Cissette" has dubbed her "Miss Lovely" (circa 1958). She has come to us in what we feel is her original box numbered 823. The design of her gown is a departure for Madame Alexander. Styled with a low decolletage lined with tiny rhinestones, it is a very fitted long sheath gown with attached long train. She wears a long black net stole dotted with gold and held with a corsage of roses. This doll glitters with rhinestones including those on her dress, her triple drop earrings, bracelet and ring. Fancy hairdo, beautiful doll. It is thought that only a handful of these dolls exist. Box. $1250. |
