18" Nina Ballerina of 1949 (#25) 18” Nina Ballerina of 1949 is so impossibly beautiful! Her dance costume of gleaming yellow satin and fluffy netting, elaborately trimmed in metallic silver ricrac was inspired by the paintings of Degas. Beautiful yellow roses decorate the tutu and her lovely upswept hairdo. A black velvet choker graces her neck. She still has her clover leaf “Nina Ballerina” wrist tag.
